Christmas Dinner 2019

Friday 6th December at 7.00pm for 7.30pm

Located in the heart of London, the Novotel’s Elements restaurant provides its customers with stellar international cuisine along with a premium dining experience. It made a sublime venue for our annual Christmas event.

MENU

First Course

Christmas Roasted Vegetable Soup – Served with hazelnuts and truffles

Thai Crab Cakes – Served with coriander/garlic mayonnaise and micro herb salad

Beetroot Salad with Goat Cheese – Served with sunflower seeds, vegetables and vinegar dressing

Grilled Vegetable Salad – Served with whipped basil feta, rocket leaves and roasted pumpkin seeds

Second Course

Slowly Cooked Turkey Breast – Served with Brussel sprouts, honey glazed squash, fennel/sage stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy

Roast Beef – Served with Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, parsnips and gravy

Grilled Rainbow Trout – Served with orange, grilled thyme vegetables, along with a ginger and mustard glaze

Vegetarian Wellington – Served with hazelnuts, apples along with apple cider sauce

Third Course

Warm Christmas Pudding – Served with port wine crème Anglaise

Cheese Cake – Served with fresh berry sauce

Fruit Salad – Served with ice cream or sorbet

Chef’s Special Cheese Board – Served with grape/apple sauce and biscuits

Cost was £40 per head; this included a glass of wine or a soft drink along with service

The dinner was attended by 40 members and their guests and an extremely enjoyable evening was had by everyone. In fact, some people were still celebrating at midnight
