DESCRIPTION:The central Asian country of Uzbekistan is developing rapidly and now is the time to learn more about its considerable potential for tourism\, trade and investment. Following our very successful Trade Visit to Uzbekistan in March/April this year\, we intend to develop some of the excellent relationships then initiated and to explore the future potential of these. In order to help achieve this the Uzbekistan Embassy in London hosted a presentation and discussion followed by lunch on Tuesday 2nd July. His Excellency Alisher Shaykhov\, Uzbek Ambassador to the UK\, welcomed LSCC members to the Embassy. Over 50 members attended the event\, which included presentations\, a discussion and the chance to discover more about the opportunities for businesses and individuals in this fascinating country. The meeting was followed at 12 noon by lunch and an opportunity to sample some delicious Uzbek food.
