SUMMARY:Business Visit to Kosovo
DESCRIPTION:Gerry MacDonagh and Guy Audibert were scheduled to visit Kosovo as guests of the Kosovan furniture company\, Graniti. Graniti have been members of LSCC ever since we ran a Trade Visit to the country three years ago. One of our Directors\, Michael English\, was successful in getting them an EU grant of half a million euros\, which enabled them to set up a new production line. We were invited\, all expenses paid\, to attend the inauguration of this plant in the capital\, Pristina on 18th March. Flights to Kosovo were cancelled because of the coronavirus and the event has had to be postponed until further notice.
