SUMMARY:Business Visit to Brussels
DESCRIPTION:From the carpet of nearly one million flowers in its Grand Place\, to its uniquely identifiable architecture\, Brussels may be one of the most scenic destinations in Europe. The capital of Belgium and home to the European Union Headquarters\, it is a short two-hour journey by Eurostar from London St Pancras to the city centre\, where our hotel was located close to the Grand-Place with shops\, cafes and restaurants nearby. Our visit included the following: \n\nReturn by Eurostar from London to Brussels\nTwo nights B & B in 3-star centrally located hotel\nBriefing at the Belgian Chamber of Commerce\nReception at Brussels Town Hall\nGuided tour of the centre of Brussels\nArt gallery reception\nVisit to Chocopolis\nVisit to Belgian Brewers Museum (5 Euros Per Person)\nCelebration Dinner at a traditional Belgian restaurant (Meal cost not included)\n\nAs always\, our visit enabled all 16 group members to learn more about the city\, enjoy its culture and explore potential business opportunities. The Belgian Chamber of Commerce received us at their offices in the centre of Brussels and it was agreed to establish ongoing contacts between us and them. They will assist our members wishing to trade in Belgium and we will do likewise. \nThis trip cost £265 per person in double or twin room\, supplement an additional £102 for a single room.   \n
