Lock & Leave Battersea Swim with the Sharks for Charity
The Lock & Leave Battersea team were at it again. After their 2014 successful 10,000 feet parachute jump for Orchid, they decided that the company's 2015 endeavors to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK needed to be turned up a notch. They wanted to be more daring and be given a challenge that was out of their comfort zone.
So, on 29th November 2015, the intrepid team from Battersea - Samie Malik, Kwaku Danso and Saahir Latif headed over to The London Aquarium to swim with the sharks.
Understandably, all three were a little bit apprehensive when it was time to get into the water.
"It was like being pushed and pulled at the same time while slowly edging into the pool."
Samie Malik - Manager of Lock & Leave Battersea
We can happily report that no one became a tasty snack and all three of them returned feeling elated and triumphant. What's more, £1,084 was raised for the charity, which we think deserves a big cheer.
The team was hoping to raise £2,000 but as you can see, they have a shortfall which you can help to close. It's not too late to show your support.
They are currently planning their 2016 charity event and as soon as we hear what they are going to be letting themselves in for, we will let you know.
